Samsung has finally announced that the newly announced Galaxy A3 (2016) and Galaxy A5 (2016) will go on sale in the UK on May 5th.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn’t reveal the exact pricing for the handsets in the UK, but reports suggest that the Galaxy A3 (2016) will carry a £269 price tag while the bigger Galaxy A5 (2016) will cost £319.
Both handsets bring updated hardware and a metal-clad design to give the handsets a premium look. The Galaxy A3 (2016) 4.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Other features includes 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 13MP main camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,300 mAh battery and ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
On the other hand, its bigger sibling, the Galaxy A5 (2016) comes with a bigger 5.2-inch 1080p display with a Snapdragon 615 processor under the hood. There’s 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a 13MP camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera, a 2900 mAh battery and it also ships with Android Lollipop.
