While AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile are taking pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with an expected shipping date in October, there is no word from Sprint about the launch of Samsung’s flagship phablet. Currently, Sprint’s Galaxy Note 3 page shows the phablet as coming soon. Now, a new report suggests that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch on Sprint is pegged for October 2nd.
The folks at IBTimes spoke to Sprint rep who mentioned that the phablet will be available for sale starting October 2nd. The report doesn’t mention any pricing details and when the pre-orders will start, but it should be close to the price offered by other carriers.
IBTimes spoke with a Sprint retail representative who says the Galaxy Note 3 should be available on the carrier starting Oct. 2. According to the rep, Samsung visited the store on Wednesday in order to give them a preview of the Note 3 before its release on the network, which indicates that a release on Sprint could coincide with other carriers.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 / Exynos 5 Octa chipset, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with microSD card slot, 13MP camera and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on top of it.
