Earlier this month, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 7 with 4GB of RAM, but we’ve already seen confirmation from the company that the Chinese market will get the handset with 6GB of RAM.
According to a new report, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will go up for pre-order in China on August 26th.
Enhanced Specifications for the Chinese Market
The information comes from leaked carrier promotional material stating that the Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB RAM/128GB storage will be available for pre-orders from August 26th and will cost 6088 yuan in China, while the base 4 GB/64 GB model will run for 5688 yuan. This move seems to be a strategic decision by Samsung to cater to the high-demand market in China, where consumers often seek the latest and most powerful hardware available.
Apart from the RAM and additional storage, the rest of the internals are the same. You get a beautiful 5.7-inch QHD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, as well as an Exynos processor, a 12MP camera for photos and videos, a 3,500 mAh battery and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as its operating system. The Exynos processor ensures that the device runs smoothly, handling multitasking and high-performance applications with ease.
Features and Performance
The 5.7-inch QHD display is one of the standout features of the Galaxy Note 7, offering vibrant colors and sharp details, making it perfect for media consumption, gaming, and productivity tasks. The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection adds an extra layer of durability, ensuring that the screen can withstand minor drops and scratches.
The 12MP camera on the Galaxy Note 7 is equipped with advanced features such as dual-pixel technology, which allows for faster autofocus and better low-light performance. This makes it an excellent choice for photography enthusiasts who want to capture high-quality images and videos on the go.
The 3,500 mAh battery provides ample power to get through a full day of heavy usage, and with fast charging capabilities, you can quickly top up the battery when needed. Additionally, the Galaxy Note 7 supports wireless charging, adding convenience for users who prefer a cable-free charging experience.
Running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the Galaxy Note 7 offers a smooth and user-friendly interface, with access to a wide range of apps and services through the Google Play Store. Samsung’s custom UI adds additional features and enhancements, such as the S Pen stylus, which allows for precise input and a variety of productivity tools.
The inclusion of 6GB of RAM in the Chinese variant of the Galaxy Note 7 ensures that the device can handle even the most demanding applications and multitasking scenarios. This makes it an ideal choice for power users who need a device that can keep up with their busy lifestyle.
