A leaked document reveals that Apple has blacked out vacations for AppleCare employees from September 15 to September 28. Rumors suggest that the much-anticipated iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will go on sale in between the above mentioned dates along with the revamped iOS 7.
AppleInsider managed to get hold of a leaked company document that shows AppleCare employees blackout dates for the month of September. The calendar image shows that the vacations of all employees will be blacked out in the last two weeks of September.
As reported earlier, Apple has planned an event for September 10 where the Cupertino giant will unveil its iPhone lineup, and the devices will be available for sale a week and a half after the launch – that is expected to be September 20. AppleInsider suggests that iOS 7 will be rolled out for users on September 18.
Earlier, T-Mobile also blacked out employee vacations from 20 September to 22 September. Currently, a rumor is floating on the internet that AT&T also took the same initiative for its employees, cancelling their vacations for the second half of September.
All these steps just point to one thing: the launch of the much-awaited iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. The iPhone 5S is supposed to be the refreshed iPhone with major hardware changes, but a similar design as its predecessor. On the other hand, iPhone 5C is said to be the low-cost version of the iPhone with a plastic body and a feature set that is similar to the current iPhone 5.
