Rogers has started rolling out the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge as we speak.
The update is sized at over 1GB and brings all the goodies and enhancements Android Marshmallow has to offer. So make sure you’re connected to a WiFi network before you start the download process.
The complete change log for the update is as follows:
- Android 6.0 (Marshmallow)
- Exercise greater control over app permissions
- Experience enhanced battery-life through Doze
- Redesigned App Drawer
If you don’t want to wait for the OTA to arrive, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Device > Software Update > Update Now. It should start the download processor on your handsets. Let us know if you’ve already upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the changes you can notice.
