Back in October, HTC unveiled its oversized HTC One Max in silver. It seems that the Taiwanese manufacturer will introduce HTC One Max with a red paint job in its home market. Taiwanese mobile operator FarEasTone Telecommunications inadvertently revealed that HTC is preparing to launch HTC One Max in red in Taiwan.
The promotion material also show other handsets including Desire 601, Desire Q and HTC Butterfly, all in red color, which are expected to see the daylight in Taiwan in the coming weeks.
HTC One Max comes with a gigantic 5.9-inch display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 373 ppi pixel density. The phablet is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 chipset with a clock speed of 1.7GHz and 2GB RAM.
On the storage side, the handset features 16/32GB internal storage with an option to expand it via microSD card of up to 64GB. Other features include 4MP UltraPixel camera capable of recording 1080p videos, 2.1MP front camera, WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth, a massive 3,300 mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner on the rear and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.5 UI out of the box.
While there’s no official confirmation from the Taiwanese OEM, but if the promotional material is correct, we should see an official word from the company very soon.
