Ever wish you could skip the hassle of going to the movie theater and just watch brand new movies from home without having to wait for the DVD? (or at least the DVD bootleg) For the low price of $35,000, you can now get the theater in your living room thanks to the Prima Cinema Player.
Dropping the cash gets you the Cinema Player, which has 2TB of storage, and a wired fingerprint reader to ensure the only person using the device is the owner. All movies download automatically the same day they’re released in theaters. All you have to do is pay the low price of $500 to watch whatever you want within 24 hours!
To any rich people thinking about purchasing this device: Can I get some money to pay for my college tuition? If you’re seriously considering buying a Prima Cinema Player, you obviously have no use for your money.
Its cost is ridiculous. You’re essentially paying $35,500 to skip having to go to the theater for one movie, and an extra $500 for each sub-sequential trip you wish to avoid! The only way this is useful is if you live in Antarctica or somewhere else where your only other option is to fly to the nearest theater in your private jet.
For $500, I’d better get to keep and redistribute the movie as I see fit. As it stands, you get a 24 hour time limit to watch it before having to pay another $500. It makes the $12 movie ticket prices seem reasonable!
Seriously, who the hell is buying this?
