Thatgamecompany and Journey developer Kelee Santiago has climbed aboard the good ship Ouya. So seemingly have the rest of indiedom as significant support has been announced for the platform. Santiago is joining in a rather more concrete sense however, under the title of full time “developer’s best friend”.
“Ouya gets it. This is the first console company that really understands how important it is to remove the barriers to development. By freeing up the development process, Ouya is opening up new doors in console gaming,” she said. Ouya is getting all-star developer support so far with Double Fine, Portal and Quantum Conundrum developer Kim Swift, as well as Papo & Yo devs Minority, all pledging to bring games to the platform.
