Last year, OnePlus introduced the budget-friendly OnePlus X carrying a $199 price tag and killer specifications on board.
If you’re still thinking about purchasing the handset, there’s some bad news for you. OnePlus X is now out of stock, and the company apparently has no plans to replenish it.
The handset is listed as out of stock on the company’s websites for regions where it operates. Customers who managed to place an order of the handset before it went out of stock were out of luck as well. The company emailed them that OnePlus X is out of stock and it has no plans at the moment to replenish the inventory of the budget friendly handset which is clearly mentioned in the email.
The company said in an email,
We regret to information you that the OnePlus X you ordered is out of stock at the moment and there is no plan for replenishment. We will cancel your order and you will receive a refund in 5 working days.
OnePlus recently introduced the latest flagship killer, the OnePlus 3, in several markets across the globe. The handset costs $399, but offers users with flagship specifications. So, it makes sense for the company to discontinue the old handset and focus their energies on the newly announced handset which is available for purchase without an invite.
