Not too long ago, a mysterious Samsung device was spotted on Zauba, a logistics tracking website that tracks imports and exports to/from India. We’ve seen Samsung import several devices to India for testing purposes and it appears the Finnish Maker is doing the same Earlier today, a mysterious Nokia device was seen on the logistics website with a model number RM-977, which is imported from Finland to India for inter-company testing and evaluation purposes.
The listing doesn’t provide any interesting information such its specifications or any other detail. According to the entry on Zauba, the handset features a 4.5-inch display and supports single SIM with a Rs. 7,966 (almost $130), which suggest that it’s an entry-level Lumia device powered by Windows Phone operating system. The device is priced just a little bit more than Lumia 520.
This could be just a prototype manufactured only for testing and there’s a probability that the device spotted on Zauba may never see the daylight. Nokia recently unveiled the successor of the best-selling Nokia handset, Lumia 525, which will hit global markets in the coming weeks. But, it can’t be RM-977 as Nokia Lumia 525 packs a 4.0-inch display
