Motorola announced last week that the Google-owned company will offer a discount of $150 on Moto X (both developer and Moto Maker Editions), bringing the off-contract price of the handset down to $349. However, it seems things didn’t turn the way Motorola expected as their website was swamped with prospective buyers and a majority of them were unable to order their device due to massive load on Cyber Monday.
If you’re one of them, you’d be happy to know that Motorola will offer the same $150 discount on Wednesday, December 4th and next Monday December 9th to make up for the downtime. The offer will go live at 12:00 p.m. ET, and Motorola added more devices, doubling the number of devices available.
Motorola announced via Twitter that the promotion will go live again on the above-mentioned days, but there’s a bad news as well. Customers can only order the customized version of Moto X via Moto Maker as the developer edition Cyber Monday deal is already sold out. In addition, the company is also extending the 30 percent discount offer on accessories as well.

Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside also posted an apology on Motorola’s official blog. Here’s an extract:
I want to apologize to our customers and fans for the issues we experienced on our website with our Cyber Monday promotion. I want you to understand what happened, and what we are doing to rectify the situation.
Here is what we are going to do: Starting at 12 pm EST/9 am PST this Wednesday, we will relaunch the $349 promotion. To help make up for this major inconvenience to shoppers, we will also add an additional promotional day on Monday, December 9. We will double the quantity of phones available, while supplies last, to allow as many people as possible to take advantage of the promotion. We’re also extending the 30% off offer on accessories to these two days.
It’s pretty good to see that Motorola will offer the promotion again this week for those customers who failed to order Moto X on Cyber Monday. If you’re thinking about getting the Moto X off-contract, now would be a good time to mark your calendar for Wednesday and Monday.
