Motorola is reportedly working on a number of new handsets, including the high-end Moto X which is expected to see the light of the day in the coming weeks.
The new Moto X (2016) is apparently in development, and was spotted on GeekBench, revealing what we can expect from the handset.
The handset spotted on GeekBench comes with a model number XT1650 which can very well be the successor to last year’s Moto X Style or the original Moto X. The listing also mentions that the handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM under the hood. The handset is running Android 6.0.1 which is the operating system common in the new flagship devices.
The scores are also in line with devices which are powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor so there are no surprises.
Recently, at a press event, Lenovo’s CEO hinted that Motorola will launch new devices on June 9th at a press event, which could possibly be the new Moto X and the Moto G4. There’s no official confirmation from Motorola, but we’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything about it.
