Not too long ago, Lenovo sent out press invites for an event which will take place next month. The company is expected to announce the upcoming Lenovo Vibe K920, expected to come with a Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro moniker.
Recently, a Lenovo executive posted an image of the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro on his Weibo account, as well as a list of specifications it will come with.
The VP of Lenovo Group and Chief Marketing Officer for China Arthur Wei posted the image, and also revealed some juicy details about the internals of the handset. It seems the handset will rock a gigantic 6-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset clocked at 2.5GHz with 3GB of RAM on board.
The device measures 156 x 81.3 x 7.7 mm, and comes with 32GB of internal storage on board. On the rear, there’s a 16MP camera with optical image stabilization. The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro also features dual-SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity and runs Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system out of the box. To make sure there’s enough juice for the handset, there’s a humongous 4,000 mAh battery on board as well.
We’ll update you as soon as the handset is officially announced by Lenovo, along with the pricing and availability details.
