HTC is going through tough times, and is struggling to make an impact in the smartphone and tablet market. The launch of Nexus 9 last year wasn’t too successful either, but it seems the company is apparently working on yet another tablet.
Recently, an alleged 6.9-inch HTC Desire T7 tablet was spotted on the benchmarking website GFXBench, as well as Zauba, an imports tracking website.
We did see some rumors in May 2015 about an alleged HTC H7 tablet, but the more recent listings on Zauba revealed the budget-friendly HTC Desire T7 tablet.
Recently, a device with model number HTC IV5001-A was spotted on GFXBench. The alleged device is believed to be the Desire T7 tablet, boasting a 6.9-inch display with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, as well as a quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor under the hood.
Other mentioned features include 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 5MP front and back cameras for photography, and ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed out of the box.
Rumors suggest that HTC may introduced the tablet next month at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, but there’s no official confirmation about it’s existence at the moment. So we’ll suggest our readers to take it with a pinch of salt.
