It’s been a few weeks since Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge went on sale across the globe, and reports are pouring in about another Galaxy S6 variant, as well as the alleged Galaxy Note 5.
According to a new report, two new handsets from Samsung were spotted in the IMEI database, with model numbers SM-G928S and SM-N920F.
The SM-G928S appears to be a Samsung Galaxy S6 variant since it carries a similar model number as the flagship device. On the other hand, SM-N920F appears to be the alleged Galaxy Note 5 judging by its model number. SamMobile reports, citing their sources, that Galaxy S6 variant is apparently known as Project Zen, while the Galaxy Note 5 is referred to as Project Noble.
There’s no word about the launch of the Galaxy S6 variant — it could happen soon, but there’s a possibility that it may be a region specific. As for the Galaxy Note 5, we doubt Samsung will launch it before September as it’s the traditional launch date for the Note series, that is, IFA trade show in Berlin.
