Cut the Rope is a very popular that is available on multiple platforms. If you love this amazing puzzle game, you’d be happy to know that a sequel of this popular title is coming this by the end of this year. Zeptolab, the developer behind the game, announced plans to release Cut the Rope 2 this holiday season.
Zeptolab released Cut the Rope back in 2010, since then, the company released several versions of the popular title including Cut The Rope: Time Travel, Experiments, and Pudding Mosters. Alongside the announced of the sequel, the company also announced that the several versions of Cut The Rope have surpassed the 400 million downloads milestone worldwide, with almost 60 million active monthly users in the first half of 2013. According to Zeptolabs, players are now cutting ropes at a pace of almost 42,000 ropes per minute.
“We remain dedicated to our mission: examining the science of fun,” said ZeptoLab CEO Misha Lyalin in a press statement. “That means building experiences that players love. Cut the Rope 2 is a massive step forward for the game. Amazing graphics, gameplay and characters drive a brand new experience that fans are going to love.”
The company didn’t mention any exact ETA, but only mentioned that it will debut this holiday season. This means that players can now prepare themselves to cut more ropes and feed the hungry Om Nom.
