All major carriers in the United States have released the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Samsung Galaxy S6, except AT&T.
The carrier mentioned a few weeks back that Samsung Galaxy S6 will soon get the update, and it seems the time has finally arrived. The carrier is now rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Samsung Galaxy S6.
The update brings all the latest features and enhancements Android Marshmallow has to offer such as the improved interface, improved design and looks, as well as improved battery performance thanks to Doze feature which puts your smartphone in sleep state when it’s not in use.
The update is sized at a massive 1.5GB so it definitely has a lot of new features to offer to its users. Make sure you’re connected to a WiFi network before you begin the download, especially if you are on a limited data plan.
The update is rolling out as we speak so make sure to keep an eye on the notifications on your device. Alternatively, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings on your device.
Let us know if you’ve upgraded to Android Marshmallow on your device, and the changes you can notice.
