Apex Launcher is a popular application in its category. Recently, the developers launched Apex Launcher 2.2 with KitKat-friendly features and is available for download in the Google Play Store.
The update brings several KitKat-related features and tweaks, including the transparent status bar, which looks quite similar to the Google Launcher available in the Nexus 5. Additionally, it brings the KitKat scroll indicator and quick search bar, KitKat visual tweaks, folder icons, updated translations, along with a number of bug fixes and improvements.

In addition to the free version, Apex Launcher Pro is also available in the Google Play Store which costs $4, and comes with extra features including powerful drawer customizations, more gesture options, advanced widget options and more.
