Apple has released the latest operating system adoption numbers for its devices, and they present a good picture of how the new iOS 9 is performing.
According to the latest numbers, Apple’s iOS 9 is now running on 75 percent of Apple devices with iOS 8 currently on 19 percent, while the good old iOS 7 is merely on 7 percent devices.
This means that the majority of owners are now running iOS 9 despite its early hiccups and problems. Last month, the number was residing at 70 percent so there’s a small increase in the adoption this month.
Apple iOS 9 was the fastest adopted operating system in the company’s history with the adoption crossing 50 percent within five days of launch.
The company has released the latest iOS 9.3 Beta for developers which brings a few handy features to the devices, especially iPads which received important features such as multi user support and Night Shift.
There’s no word on when Apple’s planning to release iOS 9.3, but we’ll update you as soon as it hits the devices.
