Director Zack Snyder was set to direct the Justice League movie, and he did until a family tragedy struck. This forced to leave the director’s seat and they handed the reins over to Joss Whedon for massive reshoots. This all affected the movie for better or for worse.
Many fans were left wondering if Snyder’s version was superior to Whedon’s take. There have been rumors that there is actually a “Snyder cut” version of the movie that would have given us a look at what Snyder’s Justice League could look like. Now it appears that the rumors were true.
During the Director’s Cuts fundraiser event, Snyder spoke with fans and according to one fan, the director confirmed that the Snyder cut does exist, and that it is done. He also claims to have a “bunch of them”. So now the next question is will we ever see them?
Snyder also alluded to his cut of Justice League running for 214 minutes, making it a little over 3.5 hours. We don’t know if Warner Bros. will ever release the Snyder cut, but we are all intrigued. Hopefully, we can see it one day. Fans of Snyder’s work will be waiting with anticipation.
