YouTube has this week added a number of new original content channels from Europe, expanding its already existing and growing line-up of original content.
The new YouTube channels to be added to the list include topics such as sports, music, comedy, news, animation, local cuisine, health, and wellness. Adding to the already 100 original channels available to YouTube viewers and increasing it to 160 channels.
New Channels and Their Focus
“Fast, Furious & Funny” is covering cars; in Germany, “Motorvision” will cover the same topic. The UK will have four sports channels, covering cycling and football among other topics. In France, a channel called “X-Treme video” is dedicated to extreme sports; in Germany, it will be “Boneless.” explains Mashable.
In addition to these, there are channels dedicated to local cuisine, such as “Tastemade” in the UK, which will explore traditional and modern British dishes. Health and wellness enthusiasts can look forward to “BodyTalk” in France, which will offer fitness tips, mental health advice, and nutritional guidance. Animation fans will be delighted with “Cartoon Hangover” in Germany, showcasing a variety of animated series and shorts.
