People love to watch gaming videos. In fact, some of the most watched videos on YouTube are gameplay videos. So maybe you want to record your gaming sessions. YouTube has the ability to live stream games being played on an Android device. And now with the latest update for Google Play Games users can record gameplay on their device as well.
Google has confirmed that soon a new feature will be rolled out for Google Play Games that will allow users to record footage of any game that they’re playing on an Android device. Users will be able to add voice and video commentary as well, so they can create a proper gameplay video which they can then share on Youtube or elsewhere.
To record gameplay all you have to do is launch the app and select the game you want to record. Choose screen capture resolution, 720p and 480p is supported. Turn on the front camera if video commentary is what you want. The app will also give you basic editing options.
You will not be streaming live like with the YouTube offering, but aside from that it’s pretty much the same. This Google Play Games update will arrive in the United States and the United Kingdom soon.
