Maybe you found a post on Instagram that you want to bookmark and come back to later. The problem is you can’t do that. It just was not possible before now. That changes today however. Bookmarking is here.
Instagram has announced that it’s finally allowing users to bookmark posts. Users can now see a new bookmark icon underneath the posts in their feed. Just tap it to save the post to a new tab on your profile that’s private.
Nobody will be able to see the posts you have bookmarked. This will be of great value to both Instagram and users since people can come back to content any time they want. It should have added this feature to the platform a long time ago but at least it’s here now. It is easy to use. Just tap on the new bookmark icon to save the post to a new, private tab on your profile. All of the bookmarked posts will be visible there and they will only be visible to you.
This bookmark feature is part of Instagram version 10.2 and it is available now for iOS and Android from the App Store and the Google Play Store. Happy bookmarking people.
