Fans have been eagerly awaiting the Xbox One X. Finally last month during E3 2017, Microsoft officially took the wraps off of Project Scorpio, which is now called the Xbox One X. The console is currently set for a release on November 7th and for those who can not wait to pre-order the console, you won’t have to wait much longer.
Microsoft has been quiet about when pre-orders will begin, which has led to many gamers tweeting their questions. In a reply to one tweet, Microsoft’s Xbox boss Phil Spencer was quoted as saying, “Our plan is set for this. All approvals are done so now just landing the announce with all the info, won’t be too much longer.” That should be music to the ears of eager gamers everywhere.
Spencer does not give us any specific dates, but it sounds like everything is ready and now they’re just deciding when to make the announcement. Hopefully it won’t be too long. The Xbox One X is $499 which is higher than what Sony is charging for their consoles. We saw Microsoft make this mistake once before with the Xbox One, but it seems that Microsoft is pretty sure that gamers will respond favorably to this price.
