Right now, the Xbox One isn’t capable of saving multiple Wi-Fi passwords, but that’s going to change thanks to an upcoming firmware update for the console. Microsoft is continuing to address issues that customers bring to its attention and this is one of them.
The latest Alpha build addresses two concerns that Xbox One owners have been complaining about almost since the console was launched. One is the inability to save multiple Wi-Fi passwords. The Xbox One has been unable to save settings for more than one Wi-Fi network since launch. This is a pain for users because when console owners wanted to move the Xbox One from one network to the other, they had to remove the old settings and start the Wi-Fi setup from the beginning. This is time-consuming and not what you want from a modern device.
Preview Alpha users will now be able to save multiple Wi-Fi passwords on their Xbox One. The update addresses another issue by upgrading the system’s Pins options with Groups, allowing users to organize apps and games into sets for quick access. You should start seeing these features in about a month. It took awhile, but at least Microsoft is taking care of these issues.
