As you probably know, Microsoft is doing what it can to make its Xbox One Backward Compatibility as robust as possible. The feature lets users play Xbox 360 titles on Microsoft’s latest console and the titles available continue to grow thanks to developers.
Fans are going to love to hear that a bunch of new backwards-compatible games have just arrived, including Soulcalibur, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (free until February 5th) and Counter-Strike: GO, plus a few other titles.
And here is some more good news. Microsoft says it will now start releasing titles as they become available, instead of setting a launch date for them every month. We love to hear that, the sooner we can play old games, the better. After all, some games live on in your heart long after you stop playing them. Some games you just need to revisit every so often. In between when you are playing those new releases of course. This is a great move by Microsoft to start releasing them as they become available. Xbox fans are loving the backwards compatibility feature since it allows us to reconnect with old favorites like the ones mentioned above. These titles are great new additions.
