Today Wolfram Alpha has launched its Android App in the Android Market today and simultaneously launching with the new T-Mobile G2 Android phone.
Wolfram Alpha is an online service that answers factual queries directly by computing the answer from structured data, rather than providing a list of documents or web pages that might contain the answer as a search engine would.
The app features the ability to search with a voice keyword, includes ten trillion data elements of knowledge, and tens of thousands of computational models.
When the iPhone app was launched the app price was $50 but was soon cut down to a more respectable $1.99 after a cold reception.Lucky the WolframAlpha for Android is available at a starting prices of $1.99 in the Android Market.
