Witcher 3: Wild Hunt players have been waiting patiently for the second expansion. The official release date has not yet been confirmed, but now we have some news.
It looks like The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine release date has been leaked online. The release date for the second expansion for The Witcher 3, has been leaked through a Steam listing that appears to have gone live ahead of schedule. Oops. The listing has since been pulled.
The listing for this Witcher 3 expansion was spotted by many people online, so even though the page has been taken offline, many screenshots exist to show that it mentioned May 30th as the release date. So the expansion is out of the bag. Last month community manager Marcin Momot said that “lots and lots” of new information about this expansion will be revealed in May. We are stillwaiting, but the month is young yet.
This expansion will have a cool story with all the twists and turns that players expect from Witcher 3. It is set in the new region of Toussaint, which is described as unlike anything players have seen in Wild Hunt. I know I can’t wait to see this expansion. It was originally supposed to be released in Q1 this year, but was later delayed. Almost here now though.
