If you are planning on updating your Windows 10 computer to the latest version, you might want to wait a bit. According to some user reports, it appears that there are some users who are claiming that following the update, their screens are turning orange. Very strange.
One user says, “When I start Windows, the login screen looks good, but when I put my credentials and the desktop is shown, it gradually starts turning red. The only element that remains with the correct colour is the mouse pointer.” Eventually, users will end up with a screen that is orange like in the screenshot above.
This update does not damage your monitor, so no worries there. It seems like the update might have caused some problems with older video card drivers. Some users are reporting that once they have updated their drivers, the issues go away. Others are uninstalling the latest Windows update to resolve the issue.
This isn’t the only bug in the KB4512941 update. Previously, it was reported that after the update, Cortana started hogging a lot of resources. Hopefully, Microsoft is fixing these issues. They are usually better about catching bugs this big before the update releases to the public.
