There is never a shortage of iPad rumors starting from the day you get the new one into your hands until the one after that launches and here is the latest. Earlier this week, one rumor had Apple raising the price for the iPad 3 by about $70. Thankfully, it looks like that rumor has been busted.
According to sources that talked to 9to5Mac, the pricing structure for the upcoming iPad will be the same as the current iPads. That would be $499 for the base 16GB Wi-Fi-only model, $599 for 32GB, etc. That goes for the 3G models as well.
Their is also news that the iPad 3 will sell in the standard 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. No huge 128GB model apparently. It’s also expected to feature a 2048×1536 Retina display, a larger battery, a better camera, an upgraded processor (dual-core A5X or quad-core A6), improved GPU, and an external casing that’s a bit thicker than the iPad 2.
Apple now offers two versions of the iPad, the iPad 2 and iPad 3, have a look at the difference between the iPad 2 and iPad 3.
