Nintendo must be feeling very confident that their upcoming game titled Splatoon will be a big hit. The big N is launching a Best Buy-exclusive Wii U bundle that includes kid-friendly shooter, Nintendoland and a 32GB Deluxe console for the price of $300.
Kids are really going to dig multiplayer in this game and Nintendo is banking on huge sales. If they are that confident, maybe you should go ahead and take a chance on this bundle. Assuming you don’t already own the console.
It’s a good deal, but a bit of a gamble too, considering that this is a brand new game series. Usually Nintendo bundles familiar titles that lure the buyer in based on the name value of the franchise. So no matter how confident Nintendo seems, this is a bit of a crap shoot. It’s an unknown quantity. But maybe you are ready to take the chnace and buy it to try something new. Well, if so, you can buy this bundle on May 29th when it lands at Best Buy. This colorful and crazy ink splashing game does look like a lot of fun. The question is, is it $300 worth of fun? I guess Nintendo will find out.
