Even though we all desperately want to know, Nintendo hasn’t revealed the official release date for the Wii U console. We may have a few new hints from GameStop though. Thanks to an accessory maker for the game console, we have news that seems to suggest that the console will be released during the third week of November.
Nintendo often schedules many of its big releases on Sundays. As it turns out, GameStop is planning the release of Wii U peripherals of the Nintendo console on Sunday, November 18th. Interesting coincidence? November 18th makes a lot of sense.
They would certainly want the console to hit the shelves before Black Friday and get some of that action. Black Friday falls on November 30th this year. That could be their plan. Well, we will know something more concrete soon hopefully.
