Wasteland 3 has been officially announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux. It will be the first game in the series to include a co-op mode which will allow two people to play together through the entire campaign. That is an interesting twist for this franchise.
The action system is also being revamped with new vehicles and more environmental dangers. Ranger bases will also return. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for this new installment of the series.
Wasteland 3 has been set in Colorado. You start out as the sole survivor of Team November and you will have to make difficult moral choices in the game throughout the story mode. There’s also a new dialog tree system based on the system in Torment: Tides of Numenera. This game will be crowdfunded and the developer is looking to raise $2.75 million to make this game a reality. The crowdfunding campaign kicks off a week from now. Let’s hope they can do it. I’m sure that we will get more info once they fully kick off the Kickstarter campaign. I know that this franchise has many fans, but can they reach their goal? I guess we will find out soon enough.
