Verizon has announced that those on its Total Mobile Protection insurance plans will now get some additional benefits that include home-service for replacement of broken phone screens.
This service is only being offered in select cities right now so if you’re not living in one of those cities this is not going to apply to you. In some cities Verizon will even provide replacement of broken phone screens on the same day. Pretty sweet.
The insurance plans now allow Verizon customers to get their broken or cracked phone screen replaced for a $79 deductible as long as they’re in one of the areas that is covered by the service. Verizon will send a technician to your home after you’ve put in a request. That makes things very convenient. The carrier only offers same-day repair on certain handsets like the Galaxy S5 through Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy Note 4 and Note 5, iPhone 5C, 5S, 6, and iPhone 6S. The iPhone 7 models are not covered.
Like we said, this is very convenient for customers, giving them another option to get their phone screen replaced hassle free. If you are in one of the select cities, you are going to love this new service. Pretty cool of them.
