Last week we got details from U.S. carriers about their pricing for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Carriers also confirmed which colors will be available. Right away T-Mobile and AT&T confirmed that they will offer the new devices in gold. Verizon was offering the black and white color only, but that changes today.
Now Verizon is reminding its customers that it will start accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S6. It’s the only major carrier that decided to wait a few days after its competitors had opened up pre-orders. I guess it wants to make up for that as Verizon also confirmed that it is going to sell the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in gold.
Maybe they had a change of heart or got sick of just black and white. Whatever the reason, they are offering the gold after all. All units from Verizon will have the carrier’s branding on the back. If you are keeping count, that makes three carriers in the U.S. that are offering the new Samsung flagships in three colors.
Those bright blue and emerald green colors that Samsung showed off at MWC 2015 aren’t available in the U.S. right now and we don’t yet know when they will arrive.
