Unannounced Sony devices show up in Postel and AnTuTu

Want some more Sony devices? Your Christmas wish has come true. Thanks to Postel and AnTuTu we have a sizeable Sony leak. It looks like several device model numbers have hit Postel, the Indonesian wireless authority. That would be five phones and a tablet. In fact, they match up with model numbers in the AnTuTu benchmark database.

The new devices are D2005 and D2105, which are likely entry-level Android phones, and the SGP521 tablet. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is SGP321, so this is probably an update in the 10.1” class now that the Xperia Z Ultra covers the phablet segment. The C2005 is the Sony Xperia M, while the C2105 is the Sony Xperia L. So the D2005 and D2105 should be their replacements.

The other three Sony devices were the earliest to arrive in the Postel database. The D5303 succeeds the C5303 (Xperia SP), the D6503 succeeds the C6503 (Xperia ZL). The D5503 may be the Sony Xperia Z1S / Z1 mini. Anyhow, it looks like these phones will be Sony’s lineup for the first half of next year, so keep an eye out. This is a lot of devices to leak at once, that’s for sure.
