With next-gen consoles, gamers want developers to deliver the best looking games and the best playing games possible. The game has to look good when it comes to graphics and native resolution and frame rate has to be good too. That’s why we bought our shiny new consoles. So we can have the best experience possible, and now Ubisoft is working on full HD for the next Assassin’s Creed game.
So we have some good news regarding Assassin’s Creed Unity. You will be happy to learn that the developer, Ubisoft, will be aiming for a resolution of 1080p and a frame rate of 60fps for both the Sony PlayStation 4 and the Microsoft Xbox One versions of the game.
Developers can usually deliver 1080p for the PS4, but they have to compromise on resolution when it comes to the Xbox One.
However, Assassin’s Creed Unity was designed for these next-gen consoles, so they can probably do it. The game is expected to release later this year, on October 28th, so they have some time to make it happen. If they can’t for whatever reason, we should know well before then. The graphics on the PC version of the game will depend on your hardware configuration of course. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that they hit their goal and deliver.
