Some users on Twitch like to show off their physique while streaming, but that is no longer acceptable thanks to a change that Twitch has made in its Rules of Conduct. The new rules say that those who are using the service to stream gameplay must dress “appropriately,” and the rules go further into detail as to what is and what isn’t acceptable. No, this isn’t a joke.
According to the new Rules of Conduct for Twitch, broadcasters who wear no clothing or sexually suggestive clothing, which includes and may not be limited to “lingerie, swimsuits, pasties and undergarments,” will have to look elsewhere since this is now prohibited. Full nude torsos are also not allowed.
What is this world coming to? You can’t even play a game of Super Mario while naked and streaming anymore. I’m being sarcastic. My eyes thank you for this ruling Twitch. The rules also state that if the broadcaster is streaming gameplay from an unbearably hot location which makes it impossible for them to keep their shirt on, “just crop the webcam to your face,”. Speculation is that Twitch is tightening things up following its acquisition by Amazon. I guess if you want to get nude and play games there are other places out there were you can. Some people just like to show off.
