We recently told you about a LEGO car that actually runs and reaches speeds of 20 MPH. Well, now we have a truck completely made out of ice. Well, except for the wheels and engine anyway. The truck’s chassis is built from ice blocks that have been cut and sculpted to resemble a truck. I think we found a vehicle for Batman’s enemy, Mr. Freeze.
It would have been a great sculpture on it’s own. The fact that it is attached to a working truck is just a bonus. Check out the video. This whole thing was put together by a Canadian company to prove that its battery will remain operable even in extreme temperatures. Seems like a good way to prove their point to me.
The truck was made out of 11,000 lbs of ice and averaged 20km/h and managed to drive 1.6km. The company is hoping that is a world record. Probably for longest distance traveled by an ice truck. Yeah, I think they have that one now. As well as coldest seat ever in a truck. This thing is pretty cool. Literally. Awesome too.
