One thing about today’s society is that it is impossible to avoid spoilers on the internet. They are everywhere. Especially for a movie as big as the next Star wars movie. Thankfully there is a way to be protected from spoilers. At least when it comes to Star Wars, fans will be happy to learn that there’s a new extension available for the Chrome browser that blocks any and all Star Wars-related spoilers. Now you can enter the theater none the wiser.
The extension basically quickly scans the page that’s loading in Chrome to locate any mentions to Star Wars and if does discover something it immediately shields the user from it. No more spoilers for you.
It shields you by covering the entire page with the movie logo and even adding yellow-scroll text that’s in line with the Star Wars theme. The message warns of potential spoilers ahead and gives you the option to proceed anyway if you think you can handle the spoilers.
Just be aware that it blocks any and all mentions of the new movie and that means that the message will pop up on any website that even mentions the name. It will need a few seconds to scan the page before shielding you. May the force be with you.
