There are no plans to bring Castlevania Requiem to other systems

Recently Konami announced Castlevania Requiem which is more or less a bundle of classic Castlevania games. It was announced for the Sony PS4 which had some gamers wondering if there are plans to eventually bring the bundle to other consoles. Sadly that will not be the case, according to Konami.

According to an interview with Gamespot, it looks like the Castlevania Requiem bundle will be exclusive to the Sony PS4 platform, and it doesn’t even look like it’s a timed exclusive since apparently Konami has “absolutely no plans” to bring it onto other platforms. That’s too bad since PC, Xbox One, and Switch gamers would love to get their hands on the games too.

We have not seen a new Castlevania game since 2014 which was Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, unless you count the Grimoire of Souls mobile title announced earlier this year, but in terms of PC or consoles, there hasn’t really been anything new since then. So gamers are interested.

In 2017 Konami stated that they had plans to bring more games onto the Switch but were not specific with details. We’ll have to wait and see if Konami changes their mind or if they plan to release other classic Castlevania titles for other platforms, but for now if you don’t have a PS4 you are out of luck.
