People love The Sims because it allows users to simulate real life. Players actually enjoy creating characters and watching them perform everyday tasks, like swimming, eating, working, and all the rest of it. Well, if you like that, we have some sad news regarding The Sims 4.
EA Maxis has confirmed that the game will not allow players to build pools or see their Sims grow up through the toddler stage of development. Let the Sim nerd rage begin. Many gamers like to create pools as part of their home and just as many like their toddlers. Some even create pools with no exits, so they can watch their Sims drown. Horrible! Yet so much fun in a devious way.
Ryan Vaughan, one of the game’s producers says, “It’s not possible for us to include every single feature and piece of content we added to The Sims 3 over the last five years.” Maybe these features will come later, but it looks like the game will not be shipping with them. You’ll just have to get your pool and raising toddler needs met elsewhere. I guess you can always play The Sims 3 if you don’t like what The Sims 4 offers. Or just go without your pool.
