TeleNav has this week unveiled their new browser based HTML 5 GPS system. The new voice-guided, turn-by-turn GPS navigation system is the worlds first browser based HTML5 service.
The new service has been created by TeleNav to enable mobile website developers the ability to add fully functional GPS features to their sites and applications, by adding just one line of code.
The TeleNav HTML5 navigation service will include full colour moving maps, automatic rerouting if the driver misses a turn, together with audio directions. The GPS service will be free for both developers and consumers and will support all major mobile platforms that support HTML 5, and is expected to roll out in early 2012.
