Intel’s latest mobile processor for Ultrabooks is codenamed Haswell and the latest ultrabook that it will show up in is the System76 Galago UltraPro, with Ubuntu as the operating system.
The System76 Galago UltraPro is said to be the first notebook that measures under 1″ of thickness. 0.75″ to be exact. It features Intel’s Iris Pro graphics and you can configure it to up to 16B RAM, with your choice of mSATA and SATA SSD or SATA HDD.
Other specs include 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 53 watt-hour battery. There are HDMI and Display Port outputs, Gigabit Ethernet, and 3 USB 3.0 ports. The System76 Galago UltraPro will start from $995. It ships next month.
