Synology has today announced the arrival of a new addition to its range of network attached storage (NAS) with the launch of the new DiskStation DS213air.
The Synology DiskStation DS213air has been equipped with new wireless 2.4GHz WiFi b/g/n connectivity as well as the traditional gigabit Ethernet port.
The DiskStation DS213air is also fitted with 2 bays which are capable of taking either 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disk drives, and providing up to 8TB of storage in total.The Synology DiskStation DS213air is powered by a 1.6GHz processor and supported by 256MB of RAM, and runs Synology’s DSM 4.1 software.
Enabling the NAS server to receive remote access and automatically backup data if required, as well as allowing you to transform the NAS into a DLNA media streamer.The Synology DiskStation DS213air has arrived in store today and is priced at $299.99 or £264.48.
