Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has a roster that is mostly filled with characters from its own franchises. However, it has also included characters from non-Nintendo games at times, so it isn’t too surprising to hear that in an upcoming DLC pack for the game, it could have characters from SNK.
On Nintendo UK’s website, there seems to be a copyright that mentions SNK Corporation. So this has led to speculation that the upcoming Challenger Pack 4 could contain characters from SNK games. But, there have also been some reports to suggest that maybe this might not be the case, at least according to a post on Reddit.
For gamers who have been at it for a while, SNK is a familiar name. The company is probably best known for games like Metal Slug and King of Fighters, which means that should this speculation be correct, we might see characters from those games make their way into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I know that fans would love that.
Nintendo has been rumored to be hosting a Nintendo Direct conference soon, so we expect that they will probably reveal more details about this at that time. If true, this is cool news.
