We have some good news for those who have both the 3DS and the Wii U versions of Super Smash Bros. The email that you have been waiting for: the one containing the Mewtwo character DLC codes? The emails are rolling out now. If you don’t qualify, you’ll have to pay for the character and wait until April 28 to get it.
Apparently the codes are now being received by some qualified and very happy gamers. Looks like folks in Japan are getting them first, with gamers in North America and Europe seeing them soon after. This should make a lot of Pokemon fans happy.
This is the first fighter DLC for Super Smash Bros. and the cool thing about it is that if you have both versions, you get Mewtwo for free. Both of the versions have to be registered though, or else you won’t get the email. If you have registered both, check your email to see if you got it. When you do, you can use the codes to unlock the character now. That’s pretty sweet! Now, if you missed out on the offer, you’ll still be able to get the characters, it will just cost you. Starting April 28, you can purchase Mewtwo for the game, for $3.99 per platform, or $4.99 to get both the 3DS and the Wii U versions. Not bad, but free is always better.
