One of the biggest Nintendo games that people are waiting for this year is Super Smash Bros. and during Nintendo’s recent Nintendo Direct conference, we found out that the game will have a release date for this summer for the 3DS handheld console. Wii U gamers will have to wait a bit longer, as the game will arrive in Winter of 2014. Wow, that stinks.
Super Smash Bros. boss, Sakurai Masahiro confirmed it during Nintendo Direct and he also talked about additional characters that will be in the game. There’s Charizard, Sheik, and Zero Suit Samus.
Yoshi will also be returning as well as a new character from the Pokemon X and Y universe: Greninja. It seems weird that the 3DS will get it first, but by now Wii U users are used to such things sadly.
Hopefully this version of Super Smash Bros. will have been worth the wait. Mario Kart 8 is arriving at some point at the end of next month so hopefully Nintendo will have two hits on their hands soon. One for the Wii U and one for the 3DS. They could use some good news and good sales.
