Whether you love or hate Apple, you have to respect all of the things that Steve Jobs accomplished. And if you’re looking to collect some Steve Jobs memorabilia, you just missed out on his yearbook. That is a pretty personal collectible.
Someone has decided to auction off the high school yearbook that features Jobs during his much younger days, with long hair and all. According to the seller, he did not actually have any classes with Jobs but his brother was friends with him and the seller knew Jobs’ sister since they were in the same grade. Well, it sold for $12,000. That’s a lot of money. I wonder if more copies will show up now that this one has surfaced.
The seller said “My brother was friends with Jobs and I knew his sister Patty who was in my grade. Jobs didn’t seem serious about the class and would clown around a lot.” This is not Jobs own personal yearbook, but a copy that was given to students at the school. If you are a collector, and missed it maybe you can track down the buyer and offer even more. Otherwise it looks like you missed out. This is a rare item you don’t see everyday.
