If you enjoy farming games, you already know about ConcernedApe’s Stardew Valley indie farming sim. It’s been around for awhile. The developer has been working on spicing things up with new features, like new single-player content as well as an upcoming multiplayer mode. That should get your farms growing again.
Multiplayer for Stardew Valley has been in testing for a while now and the good news is that it looks like it could be launching very soon. This is according to a tweet by ConcernedApe that states that progression on the update is going well and that if all goes according to plan, it could be ready in about a month.
Of course, it all depends how things go. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan. There could be some bugs discovered halfway through that are bigger than initially thought and could require more time to figure out, delaying the feature even further, so take this timeframe with a grain of salt for now. We do hope it comes soon though.
This will be a free update and is expected to first make its way onto the PC, followed by the Nintendo Switch, and then the PS4 and Xbox One.
